ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has filed an inter-court appeal against October 31 verdict of sit-in on November 2 in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The intra-court appeal was filed by PTI’s leader Muhammad Bilal – in which it was adopted that the facts were not considered by a single bench of the court in its verdict adding that stance was not heard by the court and the verdict was issued in emergency.
The PTI wants the complete inquiry of panama leaks and it is its constitutional right and requested the court that verdict of October 31 should be declared null and void.
In the inter-court appeal, the Secretary Interior, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and IG Islamabad have been made parties.
It is pertinent to mention here that the IHC has declared its verdict regarding PTI’s sit-in of November 2 adding that if Imran Khan wants to protest in Democracy Park, then he should be allowed. No citizen can be forced to take any illegal measure.
The IHC in its verdict added that if attempts were made to lockdown the city only then the district administration could take action as per law.
