All the opposition parties are expected on Thursday to hold an all-party conference (APC), the venue and time of the conference are yet to be decided.
However, sources reported that the conference is expected to be held at PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq’s residence in afternoon.
The leaders expected to participate in APC are President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif, Senator Raja Zafarul Haq, Saad Rafique, Khawaja Asif and Ahsan Iqbal, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Khursheed Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Sherry Rehman, Yousaf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf, Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal’s (MMA) Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Sirajul Haq, Sajid Mir, Liaquat Baloch and Owais Noorani, Awami National Party’s Asfandyar Wali Khan, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party’s (AMAP) Mahmood Khan Achakzai, National Party’s Hasil Bizenjo, Pak Sarzameen Party’s (PSP) Mustafa Kamal and members of other opposition parties.

Whereas, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) will not attend the party as it had earlier decided to support PTI for the government formation in the center.

According to the sources, the opposition parties will finalise the name of the opposition’s candidates for the posts of Prime Minister (PM), Speaker and Deputy Speaker. Moreover, a strategy regarding the oath-taking of the elected MNAs will also be formed.
Sources added that the oppositions final stance about protesting inside and outside Parliament will also be discussed.
In addition to that, the parties will also decide on a consensus candidate for the position of the opposition leader in the National Assembly (NA).
According to the sources, the opposition parties will issue a white paper and would repeat their demand of the resignation of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Chief, which the ECP has already dismissed.
